Today is the day! May 23, 2013 - Kaleidoscope World Forever More MV Launch

#FMForeverMore is trending on Twitter, once again by the Adiks!  That’s when Elmo received a message from Julie via Viber:

“Moe, Congratsss! Just saw the vid, goosebumps! Galing! Prouda you! #FMForeverMore”

Elmo smiles while reading the message and replied:

“Thanks Julie! Hope you’re enjoying LA! :D Have a great concert sa 25th!”

Tonight was a success.  This night’s for the Mags.  This night is EM’s night.  This surprise brought his family to tears, gave comfort to the loved ones his father left behind.  To the fans missing the Master Rapper.  And to those believing in Elmo Magalona.  Everyone is just so PROUD of him.

Right after the surprise event, the Mags went straight home.  It was such a night to remember.   But Elmo got another thing on his mind.  He has something to tell Ms. Pia, another surprise but a not-so-good surprise (on the mother’s side).  He doesn’t know where to start, but decided to just drop the bomb…

Elmo:  Mom, I got something to tell you.  Time is running out, so I’ll just say it.  [Time Check: 12:04am]

Ms. P:  What is it?

Elmo:  I need to rush to the airport now.  I got a flight to catch!

Ms. P:  Whaaat?!  What flight?! Where to?!

Elmo:  I’m off to LA.  My flight leaves at 6:30.

Ms. P:  Seriously?!  Are you serious?

Elmo:  Aha. *nods* (Went to his room to get this things and preparing to leave.)

[FYI:  A month ago, Elmo requested his mom/manager to have 2 work-free weeks, specifically on last 2 weeks of May.  His reason?  He wants to focus on schoolwork, just ‘til he is settled. (Great alibi. :D) His mom agreed.]

Ms. P:  Elmo Moses!  You have got to be kidding me.  And why is this is the first time I’m hearing about this?!  What about your school?!  You can’t just fly to LA!

Elmo:  Mom, calm down.  I’m sorry for dropping it to you like this and for never telling you.  *deep breath*  I know this is huge and I don’t know… I have always wanted to do something for Julie and I came up with this.  I know this sounds crazy, but yes, I bought a ticket to LA 3 weeks ago and I plan to accompany Julie there for 2-3 days.  I never told you because I knew you wouldn’t say yes and me flying thousands of miles away alone is a no-no.  And I’m sorry.  I’m really sorry.

It just feels right doing this for her, Mom.

Ms. P:  But Elmo, it’s… *long pause* I just think it’s too much.

Elmo:  Too much? To do this for Julie? *confused*

Ms. P:  No, no… I’m not saying that she’s not worth it.  All I’m saying is that… she might not be… Does she feel the same way about you?  No offense, Elmo.  I mean you know, now with the other guy involved and… I just want you to be sure about this.  That’s all.

Elmo:  Well… all I know now is I wanna go there and see her.  I don’t know… but what I’m about to do just feels right.  And if it’s not me anymore that she… *paused* *clears throat* I mean, if she doesn’t feel the same way, at least I get to do this… how I imagined it.  So no regrets!

And one thing’s for sure!  I’ll be regretting it my whole life if I did not get my ass on that plane!  So mom, please!  I might miss my flight!

Ms. P:  Fine! *hugged Elmo tightly* *kissed him on the cheek*  Take care, son.

W-w-w-wait!  What about school?

Elmo:  Took care of it, they know I’ll be back first week of June! *winks* *big smile*

Ms. P:  Alright!  You better be sure of it!

Elmo:  Oh, mom.  Before I forget, I have one favor to ask of you… Please don’t tell anyone about this and advise Maxx, the fam to never say anything to anyone.

Ms. P:  Got it!  I should let Tita Mariti know that you’re coming, at least.

Elmo:  Yes, but wait for my message later before you do.  Thanks, Mom!  Love you!

Elmo rushed outside to his car and zooooom to the airport w/ Kuya Rolly!

He’s finally going to LA!!!!

At the airport, Elmo texted Ms. P:

“Mom, just waiting to board.  Please let Tita Mariti know that I’m on my way!  And please, please tell her and Tito Dave to not say a word to Julie.  Will contact Tita once I landed. Thanks, Mom!”

Ms. P sent DM to Ms. Mariti:

“Hey!  OMGness!!!!  Got sweet news!  Elmo’s on his way there! As in right now!  He’s now boarding.  But PLEASE DO NOT TELL JULIE.  He’s going to surprise her. :))  Please also inform Dave.  Keep it a secret or else Moe’s going to kill us. Yiii!”

Ms. Mariti to Ms. P:

“Waaa, P!  He’s alone?  Til when???  Thought he has school?  Julie’s gonna freak out for sure! :D Woot!  Can’t wait to see him!”

Ms. P:  Yes, all alone!  Let’s Skype when he gets there, will tell you the whole story. Kaloka! Hahaha He’s gonna touch base with you once he landed.  Thank you in advance! :p  Regards to Jules & Dave!  See you soon!”

Elmo has landed! [Time Check:  02:40pm, May 25]

DM from Ms. Mariti:

Moe!  We’re staying at _________ Hotel, Room #2305.  Let me know once you’re checked in.  Baka wala kami sa hotel when you arrive, Julie’s on rehearsal.  See you handsome! :)

Elmo to Ms. Mariti:

Hi Tita! I think I’ll be at the hotel by 5 or 6pm.  Please don’t tell Julie.  Appreciate it, Tita! See you :)

Moe has checked in.  All settled.  Went to the nearest Flower Shop.  Had the florist arrange a bouquet, simple yet elegant one.   Went back to the hotel and inserted a white handwritten card that he wrote back in Manila to the bouquet.  The back of the envelope reads:  ”Ms. Julie Anne San Jose”.

He said to himself, “Now that what makes it special!”

He’s nervous.  Getting ready to go see Julie.  Taking deep breaths to shake off his nerves.  Looked in the mirror with the bouquet on his hand.    ”Ready! *deep breath* You got this, Moe!” he said to himself.

He called Ms. Mariti.

Elmo:  Hello?

Tita Mariti:  Elmo! *full of excitement* (Dave pinched her to remind her that Julie’s in the same room)  Sorry, hello? (Ms. Mariti went to the other room where Julie can’t hear her)  You’re on your way na?  Show starts in 30 mins.

Elmo:  Yes, Tita, nasa cab na po ako.  But I’ll be at the nearest coffee shop sa venue.  I don’t want Julie to see me until after her concert.”

Tita Mariti:  Awww, you’re not going to join her on stage?  Fans will be thrilled!

Elmo:  Ahh.. Tita, no..not this time.  Hehe.

Tita Mariti:  Ayy, sayang.  Anyway, ingat hijo.  Call me when you’re at the coffee shop.  Meet you there.  Bye.

Tita Mariti went back to Julie’s dressing room all giddy and excited!  She hugged Julie and said, “Nak! Am just so happy and excited for you! Kayang-kaya ‘yan!”

Julie:  Thanks, Ninang! Salamat po talaga sa lahat! Haayyyy! Eto na ‘to! *nervous and excited*

Tita Mariti:  So, Moe what brings you here? *teasing Elmo* (they all laughed) What’s your surprise plan?

Elmo:  I’ll just meet her after the concert.  I really got nothing planned out.

Dave:  Love, love, love is in LA. hahaha

Tita Mariti:  Sige, Elmo.  I’ll just go to the dressing room. Will give you a call for your cue to come in. Yiieee!

Tita Mariti:  She’s singing her last song na.

Elmo:  Okay, Tita.  Punta na ‘ko jan.

Julie singing “We Are Young” with her fans.

Elmo already inside her dressing room.  Standing just beside the chair of Julie’s.  Holding the flowers up in his face, enough to cover him.  Waiting for Julie to come in.  Nauna nang kiligin ang mga tao sa loob ng dressing room.

Elmo said to them, “Guys, just act normal as possible.  ’Yung tipong hindi masyado mapapansin ni Julie.” *smiles*

Finally, the concert is over.  Julie is now heading back to the dressing room in tears.  Happy for a very successful concert! Inspired by her fans and really feels the love of them.

The staff opened the door of her dressing room for her.  Everyone in the room walked towards her, hugged her, congratulated her.  Elmo keeping his cool and standing still with the bouquet of flowers in his face.

It was a chaos that Julie did not really notice him.

When everyone sort of settled down, Julie’s face is epic!  She saw the handsome man standing there, holding a bouquet.  She knows very well Elmo’s stand, but doesn’t want to assume.

Julie:  Oh my godd! Hahahahahaha! Sino ‘yan? Hahahaha! (refusing to go near the handsome man.) Hahahahaha!

Elmo finally revealed himself.  Slowly removing the bouquet from his face.  And wearing (of course) his signature handsome-smirk smile.

Elmo:  Congratulations, Julie! *hahahaha*

Julie:  Oh my god! Oh my god! Moe! What are you doing here? Hahahaha!  Thank you, thank you. Thank you so much! *as she received the boquet*

Elmo:  Congrats, Julie! *kissed her on the left cheek* *full smile* *hugged her for 10 seconds*

Julie:  Thank you so much, Moe! Hahahaha! Anong ginagawa mo dito! *sabay hampas sa maskels ni Moe*

Elmo:  I want to congratulate you in person.  Syempre, parang first major concert mo ‘to out of the country.  Dapat lang andito ako, diba?  Tapos sa LA pa.
